INCUBATION HUB

The Incubation Hub is an opportunity we offer to every hackathon winning team, to assist them in building a business with the solution they developed during the Hackathon. We assist the team between a 12-24 month period to establish their business and after the stipulated program duration, they will be evaluated to ensure that they are ready to go into the market and implement their solutions to have a social and economic impact in South Africa. Currently we have 20 incubated teams.

This is based on a software that will be assisting Farmers with when to plant , what to plant at which season, what type of Fertilizer is being used , tracking how the plants are doing , Getting the government’s innovation and sponsorships and more in one userfriendly Software

Makwarela campus 123 is made of Ondwela Luvhimbi, Khathutshelo, Maxa Governor, Murendeni Musi, Tshanduko Walter Madida, Tondani Mamphiswana, Rudzani Mushathama, Khondani Kaphathe and Mutondi Ramukhuba.

tech swat

SAAS is a website that allows farmers to auction their agricultural business products and includes a live meet platform, a chat platform and a live assistant for agricultural seminars and an info page where people in agriculture can learn more about the sector which also includes AI technology that can analyze the health and color of crops.

A digital platform that provides a simpler way to report crime incidents and an effective way to access the law enforcement department in the case of a crime.

Micro Apps is made of Bruce Mphikwa, Sphesihle Mbonambi, Ignecious Maila Ntokozo Zunguza and Mamakhethe Edith Matsau.

cool hacks

Smile app employs technology to help with mental illness treatment in workplaces in order to improve the employee’s quality of life. The app integrates the user, HR department and health care practitioner, at the same time, ensures the anonymity and privacy of the user until the user decides to disclose either on a chat or one on one consultation.

Their solution applies the internet of things to public transportation to enhance mobility as a service (in a scalable and accessible manner) such that daily commuters can travel in a convenient, safe, and efficient manner.

Digital pulse

A breath analyzer that can predict the likelihood of respiratory infection by requiring the user to breathe in their phone’s microphone. Doc App is another product that digitizes patient files that doctors can access through a cloud.

THE COMMITTEE

Ed-Friend is a fully established gamified web application offering foundation learners more immerse teaching with implementation of fun visuals that also enhances the flavor of Mzansi touch and to an extent specialized education services. The business has the capacity for extending to private self-service.

A community-based service delivery application, whereby if the community is in need of an emergency service that the people cannot depend on, the members of the community can provide assistance to each other.

Structured sessions that involve the practicalities of starting a business, e.g. marketing strategies, applying for funding, etc.

Agri-Code consists of Carol Khoza, Naomi Bisimwa, Phumlani Ntshangase, Thato Lesetla, Tinyiko Ntluri, and Christine Bisimwa, who leads the team.
